With so many options, selecting the right UREC group exercise class can feel overwhelming. Whether you're looking for low-impact, mind-body exercises or high-intensity strength training and cardio, UREC offers something for every fitness level. It's the perfect place for students to achieve their fitness goals and discover which workouts suit them best. Here's a guide to help you find the classes that align best with your fitness style and goals. 


Low-impact & Mind-Body Focused Classes

These classes are great for beginners or those looking to improve their flexibility, core strength, and mental health. The focus is on slow, controlled movements connecting with posture and relaxation. 

  • Pilates 

    • Pilates focuses on overall body strength and a mind-body connection focused on muscle toning and posture. 

  • Yoga (Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga & Meditation, Power Yoga)

    • Yoga helps increase flexibility and strength while reducing stress and feeling mentally and physically strong. UREC offers a variety of yoga classes from fluid, breathing movements and restoration to more heat-building forms. 

  • Barre
