Jane Grace McConville
Account Manager
Jane is an SCOM major with a concentration in PR and a minor in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication. Jane currently works as an Editorial Intern for JMU University Marketing and Branding. She loves teaching group exercise classes at UREC and watching movies.
Joi Johnson
Senior Account Executive
Joi is an SCOM major with a concentration in public relations and a minor in educational media. She is currently a Marketing and Outreach Coordinator at the JMU Community Engagement and Volunteer Center. Outside of bluestone, Joi loves to hang out with her kitty, Monty, crochet, and travel with her family. Joi is excited to announce that she will be joining the 42West team as a Strategic Communications Intern in New York City this summer!
Bennett Gravely
Senior Account Executive
Bennett is a SCOM major with a generalist concentration and a minor in criminal justice. He is in his second semester with Bluestone and is currently using these valuable experiences to help him search for an internship for this upcoming summer. His favorite things to do are hanging out with friends, playing pick-up basketball, and traveling.
Melanie Benitez
Account Executive
Melanie is a SCOM major with a minor in sports communication and PR concentration. She is a member of Tri Sigma sorority and PRSSA. She enjoys working out, cooking and playing with her foster cat, Pajamas.
Ava Noble
Account Executive
Ava is an SCOM major with a concentration in public relations and a minor in political communication. This past summer she was a Media Relations & Communications Intern at SERHANT Real Estate, back home in New York. She also spent the summer studying Communication & Conflict in Ireland. Ava is an active member of PRSSA, Lambda Pi Eta, and is the VP of Communications & Operations in her sorority, Sigma Kappa. She is also a Communication Studies tutor for JMU Student-Athlete Services. Her favorite things to do are writing, working out, listening to Taylor Swift, and hanging out with her friends.
Angela Palese
Account Executive
Angela is an SCOM major with a concentration in PR. Angela is apart of Tri Delta at JMU and enjoys hanging out with her sorority sisters. Angela has worked in numerous restaurants and plans to live in the Outer Banks this summer. Her favorite things include hanging out with friends, going for walks, going to the beach and a thorough skincare routine.
Rachel Patterson
Account Executive
Rachel is double majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in public relations and in Spanish. She recently accepted a PR internship in Richmond, VA for this summer at BHE GT&S. On campus, she is currently involved in Greek life, holds a position on the executive board for Lambda Pi Eta, and works for the Study Abroad Department here at JMU. Her favorite college memory has been her semester-long study abroad experience in Salamanca, Spain, where she immersed herself in their culture and gained a deeper understanding of the Spanish language. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, outdoor walks with friends, reading, and getting sushi with her family.
